Lenny Kravitz, Grace Jones, Lauryn Hill, Lion Babe, Thundercat, SZA & More Rock The Afropunk Festival 2015 in Brooklyn, NY.

We don't typically pay much mind to the modern exploits of Saigon's career, but when DJ Premier puts his true-school touch to a track that features the incomparable Big Daddy Kane, we're all ears. Today Preemo put up a remix he worked for Saigon's "One Foot In The Door," featuring a soulful chop, lush with piano loops, a hard-nosed low-end and a short clip of a young Jay Z giving his two cents as to who he thinks will be next to blow. Oh, and apparently this beat was meant for the almighty words of Rakim.

It's but the latest installment of Preemo's seemingly never ending saga, having just relaunched the Gang Starr clothing line last week and teaming up with Slaughterhouse rhymes-slinging titan Royce Da 5'9" for the next episode of his career, redefining this latest segment as the PRhyme years. So if you've ben fiending for some new sonics from the great sage of the MPC, then this is without any question your year. PRhyme hits digital and physical shelves December 9th and is available to preorder via iTunes today. In the meantime, put your ears to DJ Premier's masterful flip of "One Foot In The Door" from Saigon and Big Daddy Kane.
