Musicians take heed: when you get the call from DJ Jazzy Jeff to come by the compound, run, don’t walk. Your part in history may be on the line. If you caught any of the legend’s recent broadcast’s from his home studio, you knew based on the power of the “Chord Carousel” alone, this was of no ordinary seed.

Yesterday, Jeff sent up a note detailing the chaos at home, explaining that this was no ordinary studio hang. Rather, Jeff invited a massive roster of his favorite musicians to his home base to cut a record in seven days or less. And today, they’ve released, Chasing Goosebumps, a sprawling release that features contributions from James Poyser, Stro Elliot, Rich Medina, Aaron Camper, Eric Lau, Teeko, SiR and so many more. Singer Glenn Lewis serves as the album’s front-and-center vocalist, lacing each and every cut with soulful aerobics.

Chasing Goosebumps is out today and can be streamed down below along with DJ Jazzy Jeff’s homebody explanation of the project as he tours the campus. You can also pick up a copy on iTunes.
