In case you haven't noticed, "EDM," is everywhere and that silly term is impossible to avoid. 20th Century Fox wants to get in on the rave culture by unleashing a movie with today's electronic music scene as the backdrop. They have enlisted Diplo to executive produce a film which will "follow three teenagers as they try to get into a Diplo-helmed festival." Think 8 Mile meets Project X. The Major Lazer DJ is no foreigner to filmmaking as he studied film at Temple University and released a documentary on Rio’s funk carioca scene entitled Favela On Blast in 2010.
