Kenny Dixon AKA house/techno legend Moodymann AKA the proprietor of Mahogani Music and the mad genius behind the recent Dillatroit vinyl LP–remembers his first meeting with our hero (and yours) J Dilla, as well as his presence and impact on the whole Detroit scene. In other Dilla-related news the super-producer has now been immortalized in plastic as well as wax–specifically in the form of this vinyl (!) figurine by designer Phil Young Song, complete with signature D cap and MPC under his arm (after the jump, see more views at SD).
