Dice Raw follows the Jimmy's Back LP with a role in writer Phillip S. Brown's theatrical adaptation of the project entitled The Last Jimmy. Much like Dice's album - a project inspired by author and civil rights advocate Michelle Alexander's book The New Jim Crow - the musical examines the injustices endemic to the American prison system and its effects on poor whites and people of color. The musical hits the stage in Philadelphia for a two-night run on October 24th and 25th at the historic Freedom Theatre.
