Dice Raw's Hip-Hop Musical 'The Last Jimmy' Hits Tonight At Philly's Newly Renovated Prince Music Theater

Dice Raw's critically acclaimed musical The Last Jimmy is heading back to Philly for it's second run in the artist's hometown, debuting tonight at the newly renovated Prince Theater. For those who missed its last run at Freedom Theater back in October, The Last Jimmy dissects the prison industrial complex and it's devastating effect on people of color across the country through a galling narrative adapted from Dr. Michelle Alexander's The New Jim Crow, written by Phillip S. Brown, directed and choreographed by Ozzie Jones, featuring an original score helmed by The Roots crew alum.

The Last Jimmy runs from tonight, March 18th through the 21st at The Prince Music Theater before setting sails to Los Angeles and New York City. Tickets are available to purchase via Ticketfly for $35 or $45 at the door, just be sure to hurry as doors open at 7pm with the show beginning promptly at 8pm. Stay tuned for the latest on the show's happenings and if you've yet to cop Dice Raw's Jimmy's Back LP, we encourage you to do so via iTunes today, as it offers even more backstory on this poignant and wholly necessary exposition of mass incarceration.
