Despite going their separate ways after the release of their Destiny Fulfilled album nearly 10 years ago, Beyoncé, Kelly and Michelle have resurrected the project and have released a new Destiny’s Child song, “Nuclear,” taken from their forthcoming Love Songs compilation.
The Pharrell-produced “Nuclear” is quite refreshing with its Lyn Collins drum loop and airy synths. Though it probably won’t be a monster single along the lines of “Survivor” or “Independent Women,” it’s a welcomed break from the fist-pumping EDM pop and faux-808 drum rolls that currently litter the pop music world.
