Premiere: ADESUWA Just Won't Stop, Glows In Video For Soulful New Cut, "Coach Class"
Over the last few months, Brooklyn upstart Denitia "ADESUWA" Odigie has been prepping us for something big. First, we had the pleasure of bringing your her whispery slow-burner "Hot Water," followed in short order by the warmth of "Wild Light." Today, we bring you yet another stunning display of her poise and command as a songwriter with the premiere of her latest single, "Coach Class" and its accompanying visual.
Taking cues from the almost kaleidoscopic radiance of her "Wild Light" video, ADESUWA sways and lilts to the tune of a pristinely soulful cut, departing a bit from the pop ballad fold of the prior two offerings and dipping a into that eternal Motown glow, where bass licks bubble and a wah-ed-out guitar strut reigns supreme. But that's only half the story, as we have the pleasure of announcing that her forthcoming solo EP Air Light will be arriving on January 19th for your eager earholes.
