Bronx MC Daytona Marks His Signing To Harry Fraud's Surf School Recordings Label With The Release Of Their New Single "Type-Ish".
Daytona marks his recent signing to Harry Fraud's Surf School Recordings label with the release of their latest collaborative track "Type Ish" - a piano dense summertime banger with plenty of references to the BX. The news of Daytona's signing follows a series of successful tracks from the pair in recent years. Formalizing their partnership, they drop the single along with the news that Fraud will be the sole producer on deck for Daytona's SRFSCHL debut. Harry Fraud commented on the decision to sign Daytona in a recent chat with Billboard:
"Daytona and I were always part of the same circle of peers and I’ve worked with him in the past. I've always appreciated him as an artist and respected him as a person," Fraud says. "When Surf School became a reality he was one of the first artists I immediately reached out to. Daytona is a no brainer for me. He’s potential as an artist is limitless and our sounds compliment each other."
