This past weekend, Dave Chappelle quietly announced that he'd be embarking upon a tour of the states, taking his revered stage-show to the road for an outing that would match the thrill of his comeback stint at Radio City Music Hall last year. And for those of us in the big city, a stop in NYC was suspiciously absent from the list, which boasted three shows in New York state. But never fear, dear friends, the great unicorn of comedy hasn't forgotten about that historic 11-night-run or the bundles of love and admiration he garnered in his time here.
Today, Chappelle has announced a three-night, six-set stay at Gramercy Theater, holding court September 28th through the 30th for those that have the bones to shell-out. Tickets for his second Gramercy Theater mini-residency go on sale tomorrow at noon, but you should be ready to jump at 11:59, as his first run sold-out in mere moments.
