A long list of artists have been fortunate to collaborate with French electronic music geniuses Daft Punk, and in an upcoming television documentary many of those very musicians, producers, photographers and designers will share their fond funky memories. As previously reported, BBC Worldwide France is producing the doc, which is set to air on French television station Canal+ on June 24th.

Entitled Daft Punk Unchained, the film will feature appearances from Pharrell, Kanye West, Nile Rodgers, Gorgio Moroder, Paul Williams, Todd Edwards, Michel Gondry and more musicians who have worked with the duo in the past, was directed by Hervé Martin Delpierre and co-written by Marina Rozenman. Other important cultural luminaries including photographer Peter Lindbergh (who shot Daft Punk for a gorgeous editorial spread in Le Monde), English DJ Pete Tong, former manager Pedro Winter, designer Tony Gardner (who helped create the group's signature robot helmets) and anime/manga artist Leiji Matsumoto. Additional details on the documentary are still scarce, but a theme song for the entire has reportedly been composed by Daft Punk's Tron: Legacy collaborator Joseph Trapanese. With only two weeks until the film's debut, we'll most definitely be brushing up on our Francois (and hoping a subtitled version sees the light of day).
