Fuse's Crate Diggers will launch its second season with one of the Midwest's most respected DJs and musicians: Mark Farina.

Season 2 begins at 11 p.m. eastern time on Monday, Aug. 8 on FUSE, and the Fuse TV app. The episode will feature Chicago's Mark Farina, who is known for his house, acid jazz and downtempo tunes and mixes. Farina's most notable projects are Mood (1989) and the Mushroom Jazz series (1996-2011).

The episode will look into Farina's vast collection. It will also show Mark "building an example of his signature sound," according to a press release.

Crate Diggers sends Anthony Valadez of KCRW Radio to meet with DJs, musicians, writers and collectors to dig into their vinyl collections. Then, with their vinyl as the soundtrack, Valadez gets guests to share their personal stories . The show has featured the collections of Afrika Bambaataa, Tim Westwood, RJD2J Dilla, DJ Babu, Tony Touch and others. All of them have unique collections, amassed from digging all over the world, and an even more special collection of stories from their travels and their connections with the music.
