The second weekend of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival managed to top the first with a tighter set from Outkast, who returned in full form with a much more engaging Andre 3000 appropriately decked out in impressive afro-futurist attire. The duo kept it extra funky with an upbeat performance of their laundry list of classics that found the ATLiens redeemed and repping hard for the A. The standup performance from 'Kast is only made better by a hefty list of tour dates detailing their upcoming shows in North America and Europe, where they will undoubtedly kill the festival circuit. The second weekend also packed a crazy set from Pharrell featuring appearances from Pusha T, Busta Rhymes, Jay Z, Usher and T.I.Nas kept things hot with a dope set featuring appearances from Damian Marley and Lauryn Hill. Adding to the epic weekend, Jay Z and Beyoncé spent some more time hanging out in the desert during weekend two, partying in the Sahara Tent at the Skrillex show. The Carters made it a family affair with Solange and her son Julez also in attendance. Though Chi-Town representative Chance The Rapper was scheduled to perform, his set was canceled due to a sudden illness that left him hospitalized.
