Chris Stylez Just Can't Leave It Alone In New 'Relapse' Lyric Video
If being a mystery was a qualification to have a job then New York’s own Chris Stylez would be highly employable. The Ottawa, Ontario, Canada-born singer-songwriter has had a steady career since first debuting back in 2008 with his first single, “Fade Away”. Since then he has continued to make strong songs, as his most recent prior to “Relapse,” which you can watch below, went viral with over 50 million loops on Vine and appeared on the U.K. Viral 10 charts.

You would never know that Chris Stylez is an artist with international airplay because he’s too cool, too regular man status and definitely down-to-earth. It is with those attributes that we are happy to premiere the lyric video for his song, “Relapse,” which is a dancehall-infused song produced by Any/Riot and pays respect to his Jamaican roots. “This song is about letting a good thing go, yet being constantly reminded of why you both fell so hard in the first place,” he told You Know I Got Soul back in 2016.Placing all of that excitement in this lyric video, “Relapse” finds Chris wooing a young lady, only to lose her and get her back again in a bout of precarious situations. It is all polished with the slickness of “24K Magic,” and Chris never hesitates to show off those cool, soulful vocals. All in all, if you haven’t been familiar with this New York City artist then don’t say we didn’t try to put you on.
