Charles Bradley has cancelled the remainder of his 2016 tour dates today after a doctor discovered cancerous tumors in the singer's stomach. Bradley, who has spent much of the year on the road in support of his new album Changes, delivered the news in a statement on his Facebook page. He offered some encouraging words to his devoted fanbase, but urged the need to devote time to treatment and recovery in order to return to form as the mighty Screaming Eagle Of Soul.
He pledged that "Music is how I share my love with the world, and the love that my fans have given back brings me so much joy. I look forward to seeing your gorgeous faces soon, and to continue to share my love through music." We only wish him a swift and steady recovery.
