As is often the case, House Shoes would be the entity that first put me on to the producer we're spotlighting here, Chanes. This past weekend, Chanes released the third installment, bckwds, of his on going instrumental EP series. Says Chanes, "Bckwds meaning Backwoods, is a word that can be used to describe solitude. The concept of the tape was really about how the transition to isolation can sometimes seem backwards. Kinda like a double meaning type deal goin on lol."
