As cinematic as Chance The Rapper's rhyme narratives may have been on his excellent Surf LP, it seems the Chicago MC has even more thespian muscles to flex. Chance is reportedly set to star in Slice, a forthcoming full-length murder mystery film that centers around the life (and death) of a pizza delivery driver. From what we can gather amidst the film's early promo art (posted above), Chance himself will play a delivery man--but whether or not he's the one getting the axe is still a mystery.

Chance has already dipped his toes into the acting waters; the MC starred in the 23 minute film Mr. Happy, which was released just three months ago. Slice will be released at some point in 2016 and is being directed by Austin Veseley, whose credits include Chance's "Sunday Candy" music video. Veseley tweeted Thursday evening, confirming that the film is in fact a feature-length production.

A promotional Instagram account for the film already exists, but other details are still shrouded in mystery. Be on the lookout for more saucy hints coming soon, however.
