Lil’ Chano from 79th hosted the popular late night sketch comedy show for the first time. Here’s how we think he did in his performances.

A pure natural in front of the camera, despite not having much experience, Chance the Rapper had a super-Saiyan-strong performance as host of last night’s Saturday Night Live episode. Lil’ Chano from 79th fit in so seamlessly as a character actor on the popular sketch comedy show that he could’ve been a “Not Ready For Primetime Player” himself.

Appearing in seven sketches throughout the night, Chancelor Bennett played everything from a secret lovechild of Steve Harvey to a porn actor masquerading as a pizza delivery guy to a frustrated Gothamite who’s angry with Batman. Setting the laugh meter on tilt, Chance was so distinctively charismatic that he capitalized on every moment given to him to stand out and showcase his star appeal.

Like other music hosts (see: Adam Levine, Justin Timberlake) — there is no doubt that Chance the Rapper will be asked back to do the job once (or thrice) more. With that in mind, we figured we would rank his first-time Saturday Night Live performances from “meh” to “ROFL”.
