Video: CeeLo Green – “Run Rudolph Run” + “Silent Night” + X-Mas LP

It’s not even Halloween yet and mean CeeLo Green has released not one but two ‘audiovisualizers’ for his forthcoming Christmas album, CeeLo’s Magic Moment. Though the videos are essentially the same (model-chicks in santa hats runnin’ round celebrating Christmas in July–or possibly Los Angeles) the songs could not be more different. “Run Rudolph Run” is a jingle-baller’s anthem, somewhere between “Rock Around The Clock” and “Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer,” whereas “Silent Night” night is a truly soaring–almost operatic–rendition fo the traditional carol, cementing CeeLo’s rep as the Black Liberace (in my mindgarden, anyway).
