Two years back, almost to the day, Busta Rhymes rallied some of his closest comrades for a nostalgic romp of a tape, releasing his adored The Abstract & The Dragon. Little has been seen or heard from the legend since that sprawling sonic affair, unless of course you count The Conglomerate's involvement in the proliferation of the coco, but we won't get into that now. Rather, we're gonna point you in the direction of Busta Bust's Instagram account, where he took to announce the presence of the follow-up tape,The Abstract Went On Vacation, teasing a few cuts from his literal shopping-cart full of hard drives with a giddy smile. One of the clips has him pledging to release the album on Christmas Day, which would certainly be a proper compliment to the festivities. So get ready to have your head-nodding with egg nog in hand, Busta Rhymes appears to be coming with the heat this holiday season. An official release date has yet to surface through official channels (and Q-Tip's involvement is still rooted in speculation) but that certainly didn't stop him on the last go-around.
