Blue Note Records has long been considered one of the coolest record labels ever. From their seemingly endless list of classic jazz albums of the '60s and '70s by Herbie Hancock and Lee Morgan (amongst others) to the new crop of Blue Note All-Stars like Norah Jones and Robert Glasper, the label has consistently released high quality work. These decades of consistency are being celebrated in New York City on November 16th and 17th at the Best of Blue Note Records Records Festival at Lincoln Center.

Music Directors Vincent Gardner and Sherman Irby, will be leading new and classic arrangements of memorable selections by Horace Silver, Dexter Gordon, and other legendary Blue Note Records artists. Saxophonist JD Allen and trumpeter Ryan Kisor will be the featured soloists for the two-night event.
