Blu Is Selling New Instrumental Beats At Rates Of $100, $200 Each

As the music industry continues to search for a means of modern financial stability, Blu seems to be on to something with his new batch of instrumentals. Posted to his personal Bandcamp page and labeled at rates of $100 and $200, the tracks have been separated into two tapes and are, we must say, fantastic.

On $100 Beats, cuts like "The New Bop," "Bad Girl" and "Real Steel" bounce over foundations of warm, fuzzy synthesizer. Meanwhile, the drums are dry and sparing soul vocal samples flutter here and there. And as you might expect, $200 Beats steps it up considerably, offering even more detailed and immersive productions--any of which could very well serve as the cut that catapults an obscure MC out of SoundCloud and into a DJ's live set, mixtape or, perhaps, the pages of Okayplayer. Our personal favorites include "Lunch Money," "I Never Sleep" and "Raw Phone." But really these are all bargain bangers--somebody needs to scoop them up quick.

Blu used his twitter account as a platform to market the beats--apparently all you have to do is email him with your order, and they'll be yours on a first-come, first-served basis. Listen to both below, and email Blu at thenewcolorblu@gmail.com if you'd like to scoop up one of these for yourself.
