Audio: Blackalicious x DJ Shadow & UNKLE – “Changes” [Unreleased] + Gift Of Gab – “Protocol” Video

Here’s one from deep down in the Blackalicious vaults, an unreleased cut called “Changes,” recorded in the 90s and co-produced by a rogue’s gallery of beat geniuses comprising DJ Shadow, Chief Excel and James Lavelle from UNKLE. Nothing but that rich, dusty crate aroma and smoother than whipped cream. Blackalicious MC Gift of Gab also has a new track out named “Protocol,” along with accompanying visuals. I FEEL IN LOVE WITH BLACKILIOUS IN 2000 WHEN THE INDIE HIP HOP MAGZAINE THE BREAKS MARS ILL (MANCHILD) INTERVIEWED THEM IN 99/2000.. RIGHT AROUND THE SAME TIME NIA COME OUT.. I WAS SUPPOSED TO SEE BLACKILIOUS IN 2004 FREESTYLE SESSION 2004 IN LONG BEACH CALIFORNIA. BUT GIFT OF GAB HAD SOME KIND OF ILLNESS.. THAT LAST I HEARD FROM THEM WAS THE CRAFT IN 2005 I BOAGHT IT BUT I WAS DISSAPPIONTED.. THEY WHERE ON CAPTIAL BUT GOT DROPPED AFTER BLAZING ARROW CAME OUT.
