As the latest participant in Harvard Innovation Lab's "Other Side" speaker series, Black Thought graced the ivy leaguers with some icy truths in the form of stone-cold bars. Sitting opposite a visibly excited host, Thought went to work, using the freestyle as vehicle for his life story, delivered with expert prose and razor-sharp awareness, even taking the opportunity to not-so-subtly inform the top-tier institution of how few black students they actually have on campus. Hard notes aside, what we really got was yet another discourse in wordplay and thoughtfulness from a man that's always good for a mean sixteen (or more.)
