OKP was in the house last Friday for 2010′s annual Black August concert and fundraiser, which took place at the highline ballroom. The night was packed and filled with great energy, including performances from dead prez, Pharoahe Monch, Cody ChesnuTT, Bajah + The Dry Eye Crew, Homeboy Sandman, and more. For a brief explanation of the organization, “The Black August Hip Hop Project strives to promote human rights though supporting and influencing the global development of Hip Hop culture. ” Check out the photos from the night, after the jump, c/o our friend Dexter Jones.
