Bilal(or Mr. 2015, as we like to refer to him) graced us with the potent and psychedelic soul of "Satellites" weeks ago as the lead-off single from his forthcoming In Another Life LP. And while at this point, we've had some time to soak up the breeze from the cut, the Philly-bred music man has honored us with the premiere of a stunning live studio take for you to feast your eyes and ears upon. B mans the six-string, while the track and album's producer Adrian Younge sits tight on backing vocals and the rest of the ensemble recreates this stratospheric groove to the T. Our leading man, of course, keeps things perfectly in the pocket, soaring over feathery, submerged guitar and lurking, murky organ beds. It's a crystalline take on a track that's still giving us all kinds of problems in the rich musical output that has already been 2015, providing a hefty taste of what's to come.
