Bilal & Camp Lo @ Le Poisson Rouge
Lyricist Lounge has teamed up with OKP favorites Bilal and Camp Lo for what promises to be an amazing night of music at Le Poisson Rouge in New York City and Okayplayer wants you in the building!
Find out more after the jump!Over the last decade, Bilal has proven himself to be a live performer of the highest caliber, drawing from his jazz roots and fusing it with soul and hip-hop. A true show stopper, Bilal has built a sizable following despite falling victim to label politics in the 2000s that prevented him from releasing a second full-length album until 2010's Airtight's Revenge.
Camp Lo gained fame in the late 90s with their still-can-fill-a-dance-floor classic "Luchini (This Is It)" and classic debut Uptown Saturday Night. The duo of Sonny Cheeba and Geechie Suede will perform cuts from their debut as well as their multiple independent releases!
