Bagir-Ba, the Brooklyn producer responsible for this gem right here, is back on the scene with the release of this new remix album, Timeless Monk Remixes [07-13]. The 19 track release has Bagir-Ba splashing his own production flavor on classic records from A Tribe Called Quest, Ghostface, Common, Camp Lo, The Roots, Mos Def, The Pharcyde, and more. The beats on the project were made between the years of 2007 to 2013, a time period that saw him move from state to state and even end up homeless for awhile. It's broken up into 3 acts, each with a different mood, that describe specific parts of his journey - check it out, below.
