Today Senegalese-American rapper, singer, song writer, and producer Zakee released his first single over on Okayafrica. Okayplayer might remember Zakee from performing at our huge Celebrate Brooklyn Okayafrica lauch event last July alongside The Roots and Talib Kweli. Now, he’s set to release his debut project, Assimiliations this spring. Expect heavy bass, synths, electro, raps and catchy, melodic hooks.
