Another chapter in the epic Oakland-Africa saga of Whosane‘s long-time coming album Spirit & Soul. Apparently it has just been completed (in Cape Town, SA) and its coming for-real for real (track-listing to be unveiled this Friday). “Joke” not only features but is produced by everybody’s favorite Oaklandian (Oaklander?) Raphael Saadiq who adds a nice blaxploitation edge to the sophisticated smack-talking.
