Truck North puts those story telling skills on display while name dropping some classic songs along the way with this new jawn “A Song About Girls.” North$ide goes in over Jake One‘s “R.I.P.” instrumental and has this to say about it: “I’m a big fan of Jake One. A lot of the loose rhymes I write are over his instrumentals. I can’t wait for everyone to hear the music that I have coming up. Truck North + The 3rd Reconstruction, Told You So later this year, The Roots are in the lab, MMJB will be back in the lab soon and I’m thinking about dropping an EP for the people real soon.” That pretty much says it all, give it a listen.
