A few weeks ago I got to listen to the homie Thurz‘ (formerly of U-N-I) debut solo album, L.A. Riot. The first thing that jumped out at me when I saw the tracklisting was “damn, this dude got a verse from Black Thought?… AND it’s on a Khalil beat???” Clearly that combination sets expectations extremely high, and you’ll probably agree that it doesn’t disappoint (oh yeah, DJ Rhettmatic handles the scratches). Check it out below – proceed with caution, the head nod factor is type serious. L.A. Riot will be out via iTunes on August 9th.
