Sonnymoon just dropped their new EP 2012 on Plug Research and in a fit of exuberance the solar lunatics have decided to share these two tracks with their listenership. There's the ethereal yet staccato "Goddess"--which sounds sort of like Shirley Bassey is singing over a digital drone while somebody plays drum n' bass in the next room, until the proper beat kicks in at about 2:30. But for some reason my heart goes to this Mindsgn refix of "Magician" which is bult around an interpolation of "Girl From Ipanema." Stream or download below and get 2012 on iTunes.
