Speaking of Santigold, Zane Lowe of BBC Radio 1 premiered this recording of her afro-punky singjay cover of Creedence Clearwater Revival’s “Proud Mary” AKA “Rolling on the River,” which she put down in Radio 1′s Maida Vale studios in London. But y’all know she was really covering Tina Turner (after the jump)…right? I just wanted to make sure. That y’all knew that.
