Audio: Rapper Big Pooh – Dirty Pretty Things [LP Sampler]

And now the final puzzle-piece falls into place! After a left-right combo from 9th Wonder and Phonte, the last of the Little Brother-ans bounds into the ring for the suplex. Rapper Big Pooh is dropping his new LP Dirty Pretty Things on November 1st (11/1/11 –another auspicious date) and to whet y’alls appetite, he just dropped this 11-minute sampler. I like Pooh, but with these album covers (both this one and the last one), it feels like he doesn’t want me to buy his albums. Whether or not the album cover is connected to the movie, it still gives an impression that he just killed someone. If there’s something else I’m supposed to get from it, then they probably should’ve been clearer about whatever it is. The light-colored text (for anyone else struggling to read it) says:
PATIENT NAME: AMBER BENNETT CASE NUMBER: 257
DATE: 10 12 2011 EXAMINING PHYSICIAN: THOMAS JONES
TIME: 8:03PM CAUSE OF DEATH: MEDICAL COMPLICATION

How that’s supposed to connect to the picture, I have no idea. Honestly, I just find the whole cover disgusting and kind of confusing. It makes me feel like passing on the album.
