Poet, musician and all-bouts renaissance man Saul Williams has dusted off his amethysts and also dusted off his rockstar on this new track (world premiere!) “Patience.” It is so misleading to call this dance rock but it is mad danceable and it is rock. But more in the sense than it feels like some moment when rock was the new dance music than it that it sounds like that 90s sub-genre where most rock had gotten so tired that it needed some club beats and some E just to wake it up. This shit is already wide awoke. And it is also the tip of a black iceberg coming at you on 11.11.11. That is Saul’s full-length joint Volcanic Sunlight (it’s real good, pre-order it on iTunes) and November 11th is the day he will, as he says, #occupyallstreets. Listen/download below and stay tuned for more!
