guess it might grow on me.. great beat and he definitely rips some parts of the verses, while other parts and the chorus are kinda awkward.

not feeling that squeak thing he keeps doing with his voice

  • dunsun

I must say Pharohes flow on this doesn’t do it for me!!!

  • Jericho Drumm

Pharoahe Monch is a fucking GENIUS!!!!

“I call it that cause it smells like SHIT!!!” LMAO!!! And the chorus is so POWERFUL.

Please don’t pull a Jay Electronica; DROP THE ALBUM on the 27th…PLEASE!!!!!

  • Kalaika

@eazy. I completely agree. Pharoahe being the all time greatest mc ever, didn’t do it for me on first listen. I was hoping to be blown away, but I still have high hopes for the rest of the album.

  • Gshyt

Great album track. If this is any indication, the entire album
will be a really good listen.

the chorus is TOO powerful… for this track. needed something more subtle.
the bridge at the end of the track woulda been better than the chorus but yeah.. still dont like that squeak!

  • Pooz30

Pharoahe is ill, so deal with it.

Not feeling the flow? This man is one of the greatest lyrical Mcee’s of all time. It’s a breath of fresh air to hear this man’s voice again.

I like it, just not feeling the vocal production.
As always the flow is strong. The track is soulful but bright, real nice atmosphere.

    Good work Mr. Monch!

  • Tha Architect

Love that beat!! Pure 90′s backpacker Shit!!…I miss heat like this! All this funny iCarly/skateboard stuff that the kids are doing today! I can’t take it!! True. Pharoahe’s vocals are sort of unbalanced in certain parts, but other sections he does rip! It’ll grow on you, trust me. I’ll take this over what we have today!! Why don’t the kids love real Hip Hop??

  • Completethree

what they know about that? true creativity mixed with lyricism and dope production=Hip-hop! Learn the true chemistry of authentic hip-hop. Pharoahe is consistently dope. “where i come from, we all come from”
