Audio: Pete Rock & Smif N’ Wessun “That’s Hard” f/ Sean Price & Styles P

Shot like this coulda never miss! There’s been a lot of buzz about this ultimate rap superhero team-up between Pete Rock and Smif N’ Wessun (wait –didn’t they have to change that name? Did they win a court case against Smith & Wesson? That‘s hard.) Now the next track off Monumental has leaked–called, appropriately, “That’s Hard”–and there is album art and a full tracklisting to go with it.

The audio lives up to the title, bristling with artful gun-lyrics from guests Sean Price and juice-slanger Styles P. For my $, the line of the week goes to Price: “All praises due to Allah, no bowtie.” But I’m sure some more rap-grenades will go off in my head once I’ve had a chance to listen a few times.
