The elusive, unpredictable and usually brilliant Meshell Ndegeocello has again popped up where you least expect her, this time with a new joint “Dirty World” and a release date–November 8th–for a new LP project. This comes in almost like a Sade song but quickly slaps the bass into alt-funk and even new wave territory through passages that are soulful, melancholy, sweet and sleazy by turns. Just like this dirty world.
