Audio: Masta Ace x DOOM “Slow Down”

Masta Ace and MF DOOM bust the scientificals with a new collabo joint called “Slow Down”–not to be confused with the New Bohemians-sampling Brand Nubian joint in style or subtstance. And I do mean ‘substance’. The declining tempo of a wistful flute loop (say wistful flute loop 10 times fast) in the DOOM production perfectly scores the up and down of Ace’s narrative, which involves being drugged with something that makes everything seem to slooooow dooowwwnnnn. Even better, this is apparently just the first leak off a forthcoming Ace LP called MA DOOM: Son of Yvonne, written entirely to DOOM’s beats.
