Twin Cities native Jose James has been performing at a slew of venues on the West Coast last week, amping up audiences for the release of his forthcoming LP No Beginning, No End, due to drop early next year. Don’t worry if you didn’t make it to one of his sets, he just released a live recording of his performance at The Triple Door in Seattle, including the tracks “Code,” “It’s All Over Your Body” and “Trouble.” James’ confident and soothing vocals are supported by a killer band: Takuya Kuroda on trumpet, Kris Bowers on keys, Solomon Dorsey on bass, and Nate Smith on drums.
