In continuing pursuit of his troubled past as a government assassin Jason Bourne, er I mean J-Live drops this cover of Diamond D and Brand Nubian’s “A Day in the Life,” adding his own spin on the content of the verses but still showing his battle-tested skills as a master of disguise–before you go back and listen to the original, see if you tell which MC did which verse just from Live’s flow. This is a teaser from the Live Supremacy, the 2nd mixtape in J’s Live Trilogy (the 3rd installment presumably being his actual album S.P.T.A., dropping September 27th. (BTW, If you’re in ATL there’s a release event tomorrow.)
