One of the staples of Homeboy Sandman‘s live show is the section where he blacks out for 3 and a half minutes with his lyrical exercise, “72 Bars For Chosenberg” (Chosenberg being his nickname for Peter Rosenberg). After seeing Boy Sand perform it time and time again and never formally release the track, I hit him up to send me the mp3. No bullshit, the song has over 100 plays in my iTunes, it’s that ill. I’ve been waiting for the day he puts the song out there for the masses, and now courtesy of Rosenberg’s Real Late Records, you can cop it on iTunes.
