Another J. Cole vehicle, this dude gets around in planes, trains and R&B-tomobiles. A solid rap/soul combo over a classic breakbeat (it’s a formula, but a good formula). The real pay-off, though, is J Records newbie Elle Varner‘s voice, which slides effortlessly from Kelis sexy-husky to Erykah Badu raspy-jazzy. One to watch for sure.
