For the latest single from DMV emcee/producer Dunson, he takes a few minutes to vent on his ex. The self-produced joint, "Used To Know," has Dunson and Lazee going in over Gotye's "Somebody That I Used To Know" sample. Dunson's new mixtape, The Investment, will be out July 31st. Dunson gives some more background on the song after the jump.

I chopped this sample up a couple months back right before the Gotye/Kimbra song started to emerge on US radio. Then I started throwing 808s, hi-hats and some wild claps behind it in attempt to create an obnoxiously thumping heartbreak track. The feel and a couple glasses of Bourbon inspired me to let loose verbally on an old girlfriend! After my 2 16s were done, I reached out to a couple emcees to finish out the track with a third verse. But I ended up in the studio with Lazee while he was in the states a couple weeks ago and he jumped right on it with no hesitation! And now here we are with the 2nd single from my upcoming mixtape, The Investment which releases July 31st!
