Dres from Black Sheep and Jarobi from ATCQ have joined forces in a new supergroup called EVITAN (it’s ‘native’ backwards, get it?) and their very first act as a group is a big fat gasface to our current corruptionalist system in the form of this #Occupy anthem “P.T.I. (Occupy Wall St.).” Produced on the front lines of the Wall Street protests, “P.T.I.” is just first single from a full-length EVITAN project slated for early 2012.

I was kinda dubious, but they mesh so well. The track is tight, Jarobi on the chorus. Dres is always lyrically top notch, whether sociopolitical, or carnal. I had to go find it and cop it. I hope the whole project is this good.

    Much respect to two pioneers-Dres & Jarobi…..HOWEVER…
Black folks and people of color in general…Please sit yo’ asses down w/ that Occupy Wall Street nonsense-It has nothing to do with you. Protest by getting your head out of thuggery, self-hate, black on black crime, following religions, politics and any thing that separates people from their humanity. Stop being a pawn and a puppet and love each other and have a good life-Do for self and each other-MONEY OR NO MONEY. Stop protesting to Massa because your mule won’t plow (he won’t do jack but give you a new one and tell you to get your ass back out into the field) and be your own Master-One Love to the whole human race. F*ck Occupy Wall Street
