In case you thought Common had gone totally American Gangster on us, rapping about cocaine and ghetto dreams, here comes this collabo with Malibu-born barbie doll Colbie Caillat. As Com says, “I’m dustin off the old me,”  and this would sound equally at home in your local coffeeshop or on the soundtrack of your favorite high school drama. Actually it’s kinda dope, in a poppish way. Now, let me finish this iced mocha and go tape Colbie’s poster up inside my locker. Her new LP All Of You drops tomorrow, btw.
