Musically, I’m pretty sure there’s nothing Cee-Lo can do to surprise me at this point (or disappoint me, for that matter). To commemorate the work of the late Buddy Holly, the Rave On Buddy Holly compilation will be released June 28th via Fantasy/Concord. The compilation will feature covers of his songs by Paul McCartney, Florence + The Machine, Kid Rock, Fiona Apple, and more. Today, we get Cee-Lo’s contribution with ” (You’re So Square) Baby I Don’t Care.” The song was written by Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller and originally recorded by Elvis Presley in 1957.
