Ayah-f-Slakah-the-Beatchild-Keep-Up
One of our favorite upcoming vocal stylists Ayah changes lanes a bit with her new track "Keep Up," foregoing the solidly soulful sound of her Jazzy Jeff productions for the wired-for-the-dancefloor future soul of this Slakah the Beatchild track. Actually it is kind of nostalgic futurism, with the classy, atmospheric feel rarely heard since the days when 2step and UK garage were first evolving out of intelligent drum & bass--think LTJ Bukem or 4 Hero. Then add diva, rinse and repeat.
