Detroit player Apollo Brown takes it back to the essence with this track, an unexpected chop of Isaac Hayes' immortal version of "Walk On By"--chopping up the same strings Hayes recorded at United Sound Studios in Detroit and Frankenstein-ing those shits back together into a monster more at home on the post-meltdown streets of Motown 2012. Just the thing for O.C. to get his mean-mug on, and that he does, poking holes "in ya sternum / this new breed of vermin / need a lesson sometimes / like Fishburne in Higher Learnin'."
